Like her brother, Lynn, Gwen started singing and playing the guitar at an early age. While still in high school, she performed on several talent shows and sang in church and at other events. It wasn't long after Lynn organized his first country music band, "The Ramrods", that Gwen joined and started singing some lead vocals with the band. She appeared on local TV in Baton Rouge and in New Orleans, and was part of the opening acts for Tex Ritter, Lefty Frizzell, Conway Twitty, The Cantrells, Jack Barlow, and other country music stars. When "The Ramrods" broke up, Gwen continued singing on occasion with her brother's new band and at other events. Around 1986, Gwen stopped doing public appearances, and hadn't sang her traditional country music again until 2006, when she joined Lynn on his debut album, "Legendary". This lady has an extraordinary singing talent that is still as sharp as ever. She will be joining Lynn from time to time on local oprys, at track shows, and other family oriented events around Louisiana and Texas. Gwen is a native and resident of Dutchtown, Louisiana.
