Lynn Landry is no stranger to the music stage. He bought his first guitar when he was a teenager, and by age 20 had organized his own band,"The Ramrods". He started singing Swamp Pop (old rock & roll) and country music for parties, shows, night clubs, and other events. Within a year, Lynn and his band were recognized for their country music talent, and were asked to open shows for such country music stars as Lefty Frizzell, Tex Ritter, Conway Twitty, and others. He also appeared on TV and radio. Lynn's second band, "Sundown", played to crowds throughout South Louisiana from 1976 through 1985.

Lynn performed until he retired from the music scene in 1986. He then went into Christian ministry and continued singing in services and at fellowship meetings. In 2005, he came out of retirement to sing at the Lakeside Opry in Denham Springs, LA. Since then, he has been performing on opry shows, singing traditional country and rock & roll, in East Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi.

To date, Lynn has released two country music albums ("Legendary" in 2006, and "Lonely Too Long" in 2009) and in 2010, returned to Swamp Pop music with the release of his third album ("Swomp"). His fourth album should be released later in 2010, or early 2011. It will feature songs of inspiration.

Lynn, a native of Dutchtown, resides in Slaughter, Louisiana. He is available to perform country music, swamp pop, and/or gospel music at shows, benefits, track shows, and other family oriented events around Louisiana and Texas or beyond. He has recorded at HARMONY RIDGE STUDIOS in Holden, La., and at OAK TREE STUDIO in Addis, La.
