Lynn Landry is no stranger to the country music stage. He bought his first guitar when he was a teenager and by age 20 had organized his own band. He started singing for parties and in night clubs and within a year, Lynn and his band were opening shows for such country music stars as Lefty Frizzell, Tex Ritter and Conway Twitty. He also appeared on TV and radio.

In 1976, Lynn was injured in an industrial accident, leaving him with a permanent limp, which has become somewhat of a recognizable trademark.

Lynn performed until he retired from country music in 1986. He then went into Christian ministry and continued singing in church and at fellowship meetings. In 2005, he came out of retirement to sing at the Lakeside Opry in Denham Springs. He sings all the old golden country hits.

Lynn, a native of Dutchtown, resides in Slaughter, Louisiana. He sings and performs at country music shows, benefits, track shows, and other family oriented events around Louisiana and Texas, and is a recording artist with HARMONY RIDGE STUDIOS in Holden, La.
